Renova Solar Financial Plans and Services:

  • Renova estimates residential customers save 25% or more on electricity bills per month.
  • Renova offers multiple financing options for residential solar systems: solar leasing, power purchase agreements (PPAs) and purchasing the system outright.

Solar Leasing:
-This option is the most popular for purchasing solar energy in California.
-Homeowners pay a fixed monthly fee for the solar energy system to Renova Solar.
-$0 down installation
-At the end of the lease period, homeowners can renew the lease, purchase the system, or have the system removed.
-RenovaPLUS program allows web-based monitoring of the system and maintenance, output performance, and theft is covered.

PPAs:
-Similar to a lease, but homeowners pay monthly per kilowatt hours generated by the solar system for an agreed upon period of time.
-No upfront costs.
-At the end of the PPA period, homeowners can renew the PPA, purchase the system, or have the system removed.
-RenovaPLUS program allows web-based monitoring of the system and maintenance, output performance, and theft is covered.

Purchasing the System:
-This option incurs the largest capital investment upfront, as homeowners pay for the PV panels and installation of the system but will have no monthly cost.

-Homeowners are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the system.
